Mexico City airport adopts Japanese man
A Japanese man named Hiroshi Nohara has decided to take full advantage of his tourist's visa in Mexico City and has moved into the airport. He's been living there for two months, and the initial avoidance from the locals has recently turned into a curiosity.Nohara, who can't explain why he decided to live in the city airport, has been getting by on free donations from local fast food stands and kind visitors. Apparently he was gaining so much notiriety with the local media that he's even being sponsored by a few of the stands who give him free hats and shirts to wear. Now, as a tourist attraction in and of himself, people stop by the airport just to take their picture with him.
Meanwhile, Mexican officials can't do anything to remove him from the airport as it's a 24/7 facility and technically he's there legally. His tourist visa runs up in March.
Until then, make sure you stop by on your connection to Acapulco and get your photo taken with Mr. Nohara. It's a limited edition engagement so your photo will be worth millions on Ebay someday.

I am all for it! There was a time in my life that I would have thought loser! Until a my best friend got deep into debt and her family is Japanese. They raised their children so strict that to be in debt is a sin.You are to bring no shame to the "family name" and if you get yourself into it you can get yourself out of it.
She ended being found hanging in a hotel room expressing guilt to the end, that the credit card she used was going to be put over the limit by this. She also said she was so sorry for all the pain she knew I was going to go through .Trust me she could never imagine! She had given me the name of one bill collector that called her a "loser" for getting something that she could not pay for. So I try not to judge others by how they appear because you may never know what they are going through.

I wonder if this man is
a) stupid
b) very smart
He must have had a life somewhere before, maybe he was an accountant or a chef in a restaurant. maybe he has a wife and kids and doesn't want to go back to japan............I wonder what his story is?

this article is also on yahoo news. they said on yahoo that he does have a return ticket home. he does have the means to go back home. he just chooses not to. for what reason we don't know. but the reason could be deeper than we will ever know. I say if he isn't causing problems or bothering anyone leave him alone.

This guy obviously had the monies to fly into Mexico. Why mexico? Not too hard to figure out. This Japanese person is smarter than he is given credit. He obviously researched the laws before he came. What will the airport due when his visa runs out?? I am sure he has another plan. In the mean time, tourists are being sucker into this guys game and he knows this.

Too bad Mr. Martin doesn't know how to spell "notoriety" or that the phrasal verb is "to run out," not to "run up" when talking about that man's visa.
Doesn't anybody proofread anymore? Doesn't anybody care about how the printed word is published?
