Gadling's 10 days of gadget giveaways - day 3 - Tom Bihn bags

Tom Bihn designs and produces their bags in the USA, and their Checkpoint Flyer bag was recently featured in our best 25 travel products of 2008. Up for grabs in this giveaway are 2 Tom Bihn bags.
The Tom Bihn Western Flyer is described as "the ultimate overnight bag" and provides a whopping 26 liters of storage space, waterproof zippers and a divided front compartment roomy enough for a pair of shoes!
The Tom Bihn Aeronaut is equally impressive; this 3-in-1 bag is a soft bag, backpack and duffel bag at the same time. You can wear the bag over your shoulder, on your back, or simply carry it through the airport. The bag holds up to 45 liters of your stuff, and features splashproof zippers. Of course, the bag is approved as a carry-on for most airlines, including the strict rules at London Heathrow airport.

I would love a charge pad for when I travel. I have emailed my husband the website with a BIG HINT to put it on my Christmas list.

At 73 when I arrived home from Glasgow, Scotland in August I swore my travelling days were over. The hassle at the airports and the endless walking were getting to these old bones and the snafu at Glasgow International Airport was enough for one life time but that is another story. One thing that did happen this time that surprised me was that they didn't make me take my laptop (I go nowhere without IT) out of the case but just stuffed it in the dishpan and sent it through (my theory is that at my age they figure I am too old to carry a bomb) anyway I was wrong and am now on the agenda to fly to SF to spend Xmas with my son and his partner so am off again and just loved the Tom Bihn Checkpoint Flyer case for my laptop. Am going to put it on my wish list I am preparing for my 4 kids. Fingers crossed.

It's not flashy, but the Tom Bihn bag is probably my favorite. A nice solid bag can make travelling so much easier. I'd like to try to Chargepod as well.

The Garmin Oregon 400t is awesome. Perfect for geocaching with your buddies. If you haven't tried it, you should sometime!
The compass is neat too.

I'm a big fan of the Tom Bihn bag--I've owned one for my laptop for several years and love it.

I'm very partial to the "Kindle" book reader.

This is a gorgeous bag. My favorite item on the gadget's list is definitely the Amazon Kindle. For a moment I was going to say the Peek Email device, but the monthly fee turned me off. The Kindle doesn't have a fee except when you buy something. I love it!!!!

I love the Eye-Fi! We originally used it for our wedding and people just loved the concept! We even got our wedding photog to go out and get one himself!
Now that Eye-Fi can allow for geotagging, it's even more useful while traveling!

I actually just gave my wife the URL for my christmas list. Anything would do.
If I were to buy one of the products today, it would be the cradlepoint router. I use a hard-wired router now and the ability to use a WWAN card would make slow hotel internet a thing of the past. (No offense-- Marriott)

My favorite is the SeV Quantum jacket - just beautiful and very useful.

I love this suitcase! Small enough to carry easily, but big enough to hold enough stuff for a short trip.

the Panasonic Lumix TZ5... i've been looking for a point-and-shoot compact digicam with decent optical zoom to replace my Sony

The Slacker G2, it would be nice to get music updates without the PC. I like that idea. Good battery and small size also.
