Months have now passed, but the memory has not. I have no interest in traveling to Utah, I've cut up my American Express card, I will not fly Delta (they've got a hub in Utah) And I had the option to stay at the Marriott on Guam and instead stayed with at the Westin. Yes, time has passed... but to support a Mormon based business in my mind would be like supporting the Taliban. I will not tollerate doing business with anyone that would find it acceptable to take away rights from American citizens. Saddam threatened rights of Americans and we went to WAR, the Mormons do the same and we do nothing??? I don't think so! While many feel as if a boycott does nothing... I wouldn't count the Gay dollar or Gay friendly dollar off. Especially, in the travel industry!!! It's sad.... in Nazi Germany, the CHRISITANS said. "It's okay because they're JEWS" and they supported HITLER, in America, the Christians said... "It's okay because they're BLACK and they supported SLAVERY... even used their bible to support such evil. Then in the late 1960's the christians were at it again... this time they fled to the streets and professed if BLACKS were allowed to marry whites, this would ruin marriage. Yeah, sounds familar.... now in 2009, the christians say... "It's okay because they're GAY" Well, I'm here to tell you.... It was not okay then and it surely is not okay NOW!
And just on a Christian note.... do you know what Jesus said about homosexuality??? NOTHING!!! Yes, Jesus said nothing in regards to homosexuality... now surely if it was a issue, Jesus would have mentioned it. He was not stupid.
