I'm traveling on both Thanksgiving day (domestic) and Christmas day (Transatlantic) just to avoid the larger crowds. This time of year, I always avoid northern airports like JFK or ORD for the simple reason of increased possibility of winter weather delays. Opting for ATL decreases those chances significantly.
