Kent,
I am a big fan of this column and look forward to the Q&A each week. This article had caught my attention. Myself and my girlfried were going from BOS-SNN on an Aer Lingus A330 last month and I noticed throughout our flight the pilot kept turning on the exterior lights for a few minutes at a time. This went on for about an hour during the middle of the night. Would the crew be inspecting for ice?
thanks
Ryan
