I'm Australian and proud of it. The supporting ritual killing of prisoners by the State is a national disgrace no matter what they have done. Civilized states have no business ritually killing people or supporting other states in ritually killing people.

What the Bali bombers did was horrific but their execution by the State will not bring back the 202 people they killed and they are now martyrs in the minds of the Islamic fundamentalists. How does this help to combat terrorism?
