Local cards are OK, but if you move around from country to country your number changes and folks dont know what number to call you on. Plus you may not use up all your credit so you end up paying more per call as you havnt used all the credit you've paid for. My geosim account can be used with local SIMs to make a call using sms callback and my geosim number can be forwarded to my local sim so folks only have to call me on one number. check out this http://www.globalsimcard.co.uk/sms_callback.php
