Crashing a flight's in-flight entertainment system, on purpose

Couldn't you conceivably get arrested, or even worse, sued by the airline for disorderly conduct, as well as knowingly tampering with private property? Please don't do this to anyone. I would hate to be on a long flight and without entertainment.
