Great article! I'm glad I found this website, as it's hard to find people who sympathize with frequent travelers.
I have one note for you, however, and that is that I don't think you should make the article about the alliances, as you flew exactly one carrier from each. I hate US Airways. I avoid them at all costs. I do, however, love the service and aircraft of Air Canada and United.
If you are rating the alliances solely based on your experiences in this one trip, it's obvious to see who lost. But if you want an accurate view of the quality of service offered by Star Alliance (US Airways notwithstanding), try some of their other carriers as well.
