So the main point of this story is that you caught a bug and rather suffered through while the bacteria was making a home in your intestines rather than seeking medical advice? Any pharmacist in Egypt - and 90 percent of them speak good English - can prescribe the antibacterials and antibiotics you would need in such situations, as well as pointing you to the nearest physician if they think you need a more thourough examination. With their help, you'd been up and running in a day. Trust me, I've been coming here for ten years and have had all the bugs, plus that I've helped my holidaymaking guests with the same issues every week. BTW: It's Pharaohs revenge.
