Obviously you don't get out much or read, but the author did say "Naturally, being the kind, respectful passenger that I am, I kept to myself and didn't raise a fuss". So what if he peeked through, in-between the first class seats? The author was discreet, and obviously, notables do expect some interaction with fans, admirers.
