Despite (and maybe because of) other airlines cutting Las Vegas flights, this may be a golden opportunity for Virgin. Besides a NYC-Las Vegas nonstop flight, it probably opens up a one-stop connection from many other Virgin destinations.
Virgin Atlantic is the only airline flying a 747 into Las Vegas on a daily basis.
