That's a pretty narrow point of view on Vilcabamba (or anywhere else). Sounds like one dinner conversation at one hotel turned into an expose on both an entire community as well as a larger trend on ex-pats. As I know Vilcabamba a little bit, I know that Carol's Madre Tierra is not indicative of everything going on in Vilcabamba. What about Hacienda San Joaquin? And others?
