Personally, I just don't understand all the hype about Dubai. I guess if you live in a place with lousy weather in Europe, i.e. Ireland/the UK, etc., it's a dream come true. But to us who have the lovely beaches of Florida, California, HAWAII, etc., Dubai is just an over priced country with strict moral clauses, etc., There are too many other beautiful places where your money goes a lot further and you don't have to worry about getting arrested for eating something with poppy seeds!
