'Humiliated' passenger sues Continental Airlines
Carolyn "Lynne" Meadow, the artistic director of the Manhattan Theater Club, filed a lawsuit against Continental Airlines yesterday, saying a member of the company's flight crew humiliated her by turning her over to the FBI.The incident happened last August on a flight from Rome to New York, according to the New York Sun.
The Sun reports the story today in a long-winded, blow-by-blow account. Here's a summary: Meadow angered one flight attendant by asking him to be quiet while she slept, she then proceeded to monopolize other flight attendants' time with various requests, and she finally broke an armrest monitor (accidentally, she claimed), incurring the wrath of the flight attendant she initially shushed.
Even that's a little long-winded.
Anyway, the flight attendant accused her of "destroying" airplane property and had the Feds waiting for her when the plane touched down in New York.
She is suing the airline for emotional distress, humiliation and for providing her with faulty flight equipment, the Sun reports.
Continental is not commenting on the matter.

WAY TO GO COLLEEN!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A JERK THAT BOZLY IS. HE ALSO STATES IN ANOTHER BLOG THAT HE DATED A F/A AND STATES THAT HE NOT ONLY DID HER "HOMEWORK", BUT WATCHED HER AT TRAINING. EVEN I KNOW AS A FREQENT FLYER THAT THE PUBLIC CANNOT GO INTO THE TRAINING FACILITIES. IF THIS GUY WOULD SPEND SOME QUALITY TIME READING, LISTENING TO THE CLASSICS ETC MAYBE HE WOULD NOT BE SO LONEY THAT HE MUST BLOG 24/7. I LOVE TO SET NEXT TO THESE LOSERS ON THE PLANE, BECAUSE I HAVE NO PROBLEM SHUTING THEM UP WHEN HE TRIES TO ABUSE FLIGHT CREW MEMBERS. SO BOZLY TAKE THE TRAIN AND SHUT UP.

The thing to remember here is that the flight attendants job is for the safety of the passengers. That is the reason they are there. The services they provide, such as drinks, headsets, blankets, etc...are not required. The airline does it as a convenience to the passengers to make the flight more comfortable. This woman does not have the right to treat them as her servants. Someday the airlines may too take this away and have the flight attendants there to do their actual jobs only. Safety of the passengers. She should be thankful they are there and perhaps she should walk in their shoes.

The passenger pays the flight attendant's salary you say???? LOL, LOL, LOL, For all you uneducated people please read the papers!!!!!!!!!!!!! Flight crews are underpaid and certainly do not count of the fares being charged to passengers as any part of their saleries. ha, ha, ha,. People come on board with the expectation that these crews are personal maids!!! They are there because federal regulations require so many flight crew memebers per passengers. They are there to help in trouble situations NOT to be a maid. For passengers who treat any crew member as a slave that passenger deserve what he/she gets in return. As a frequent flier, I see the abuse and lack of respect given every day to the crews and will step up to defend any flight crew member. There are good/bad in every field so have some respect and understanding for these overworked/underpaid (public knowledge) flight crews. Obviously, you do not fly 5-6 times a week as I do, otherwise you would not say or think the way you do. Please do us all a favor and take the train next time.

NO ONE, NO ONE GET IT. SEE TO ME THAT THIS RUNS DEEPER AND I BELIEVE YOU NEED SO SERIOUS HELP. YOU GO OFF THE DEEP END EACH TIME YOU TALK ABOUT THE FLIGHT CREW MEMBER YOU DATED AND HOW SHE WAS DUMB AND EVEN A RETARDED PERSON COULD DO THE JOB. SO GET IN TOUCH WITH A REALLY GOOD PSYCHOLOGIST, SIT DOWN AND LET THEM HELP YOU.
I THINK IT WAS YOU WHO GOT DUMPED FIRST OFF (YOU SAY YOU DUMPED HER). SECONDLY NO ONE REALLY CARES WHAT YOU SAY ANYLONGER WHEN YOU TALK STUPID.
