Latino heartthrob kicked off Delta flight
You'd think famous people can get away with a bit of attitude, not on a Delta flight though. 18-year old Latino music heart throb Carlos Olivero recently got kicked off a Delta flight in Atlanta for not stowing his iPod. He was asked to switch it off and stow it for take-off; he obediently turned the device off, but refused to stow it. Next thing you know, a security team was called on board and he was escorted off the plane with his mother.
A bit far fetched I know: what's the big deal, he switched it off as told; not stowing it shouldn't have been made an issue. But, that's what you get for messing with flight attendants on Delta!
Part of Latin pop band Menudo, a group that both Ricky Martin and Marc Anthony used to be in, this little disobedience act with a Delta flight attendant may break or make his career. Will the girls love him for being a bad boy? Or will they demand a replacement?
See, your travel behavior can have life-changing consequences.

I object to Brett's comments that Flight Attendants became butt holes after being given a little power after 9/11. The ones that are butt holes now were butt holes before 9/11. The ones are nice now were nice before 9/11.

I have seen many people...........mostly business men, who pretend to turn off their phones, etc until the Flt attendant leaves then back on when she leaves........and those who just hide it under their magazine until they move awasy then back to messaging........They Flt Att must have seen to many people faking it and he got the wrath

Way to go Ron! I see this way....... too many times myself. I'm a frequent flyer and disqusted with the abuse these flight crew members take. Most passengers have not a clue as to the job these flight crew members do! So, when passengers see one "thing" wrong some passengers jump the gun and challenge the flight crews. I've seen first hand the work of some of these passengers who think all rules are for everyone else, but themselves. You've got to be kidding. I, personally, would like to see just one of these "trouble maker" passengers do the same work under the same situations for one week that these flight crews do. IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN! The bottom line for most problems I see as a passenger is it that people think they do not have to follow the FAA mandatory rules that the flight crews are required to do. At 40,000 feet in the air it only takes one "moron" to cause real chaos. So to all the morons out there - please leave us passengers who fly frequently (or not) in peace and just take the train. Let's see how far you get with the conductor and his rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
