Greek sex scandal: British tourists face charges over oral sex show
Gotta hand it to the Brits: They know how to go crazy when on vacation.A group of British women are facing prostitution charges after they took part in an oral sex competition on the Greek island of Zakynthos this past weekend, according to eTurboNews
Nine women received money to "perform" in the competition, which was recorded and posted on the Internet.
Another six British men and six Greek men (two of whom owned the bar) are also facing charges of "encouraging obscene behavior," eTurboNews says.
Zakynthos has the reputation of being pretty full on when it comes to its party scene, not unlike Majorca and Ibiza.
The competition took place on Leganas beach, with is in the south of the island.
No word on who won it.

I saw some pretty crazy partying going down on the island of Mykonos, but nothing that wild though! Don't worry folks, there are so many beautiful Greek Islands and only a couple of them are wild and crazy. There is a Greek Island for every mind set.

Just to let everyone know, the women arrested were actually eastern European and NOT British. Those that have made sweeping comments about British women maybe need to look at the behaviour of their compatriots before writing. You know what they say about people in glass houses.....

and you know this how? I have read a lot of reports online about it, and nowhere does it say they aren't British. I just came back from 4 days in London, and must say, that the women dressed skanky.....and they had British accents

Curious. The women are charged with prostitution but the men get the lighter charge of "encouraging obscene behavior". Obviously the men were also active participants so shouldn't they get a charge relate to being a "john" or "pimp" if the women were the "prostitutes"? The men got off easy, pun intended.
Also, it says it was a competition, usually only the winners (or top 3) of competitions get paid or rewarded, right? So why punish the otehrs. They should just charge the bunch with lewd/obscene behavior in a public area (if it was public) and not postitution. They probably had several drinks, were horny anyway and somehow thought this would be a good idea. Bet they would've still done it if no money was involved.
