Thanks for great suggestions!
My main anti-jet lag strategy centers around combating the desert-like conditions in an airplane and STAYING HYDRATED.
1) I drink as much water as I can; I bring my own water bottle so I'm not as dependent on the flight attendant's rounds, and don't have to worry about spilling.
2) I use a little 2 oz spray bottle--which gets through security--to spritz my face with water during the flight.
3) If the hotel has a bathtub, the night I arrive I soak in the tub before going to sleep.
These have been helpful for a couple of recent trips between California and Asia. It will be put to the test with an upcoming trip to India!.
