Flint police cracks down on sagging pants
Traveling to Flint, Michigan anytime soon? Better keep those pants up!Flint's new police chief is planning to crack down on sagging pants that expose too much skin (or boxers.) Chief David Dicks feels that "this immoral `self expression' goes beyond freedom of expression; it rises to the crime of indecent exposure/disorderly persons."
Under the order, anyone with exposed buttocks could be arrested on "a misdemeanor charge of being a disorderly person, punishable by up to a $500 fine and three months in jail."
Hmm, I wonder why they don't fine girls for wearing thong-exposing low-cut jeans?

No kidding Iva, the females who knowingly wear their jeans with their thongs and/or "crevice" showing do it purposely too...and should be fined. If they only knew that showing less is actually sexier, and definety more respectful to others and to oneself, than showing more. I guess the immature factor superceeds the respect factor.
By the way, are they also going to fine those that have the "plumber" look? Or what about those that wear pants, and shirts, many times smaller than they are??

I too agree that people should be able to wear what they want and how they want, with one exception, for women, if they want to show their stuff, they should at least hold off until they are in a club or something. I am a mom of teenage girls and they also agree that women shouldn't be showing their junk...and they don't stand alone in their age group...many others also agree that it makes a woman/girl look like a hoochie. I used to always be the "defiant one" the "black sheep" who would wear what I wanted, how I wanted, and act and talk the way I wanted, so I do believe that people should be free...but what about other's right too....to be free from offensive stuff?! I know, it's a touchy subject....but I don't think it's fair to little kids (but old enough to know) to have to be subjected to seeing someone's underwear or ass hanging out. (By the way, when I see guys with low-riders and hardly and ass to speak of, the thought always goes through my mind that I would love to creep up behind them and yank those pants down. LOL!)

only in this dumpy state of michigan! if they have underwear on i don't see how the hell they could get arrested for their pants being at their knees. baggy sagging pants are better than tight pants. oh the horror of tight pants...you can see the outline of the entire "package". no one gets arrested for speedos, thongs or insanely tight bike shorts, why should they arrest people in baggy pants? you definitely see far more in a speedo. far far more...here in jackson there's this man that runs through Cascades park in one of those scary speedos (and you swear his "thing" is going to fly out at any moment), and doesn't get arrested or even talked to!

Tight pants are gross in themselves but I swear on some of these guys I could see the leg hems of their boxers!!! The cops would have made a fortune if they had ticketed them!!!
