It's hard to not think about it when management sends out a weekly email asking who's out and when. Not only do you have to plan for your vacation, but it also has to take in account a partner, children, and then on top of that coworkers.
Most likely the entire office will shutdown (congée) for a week due to a lack of staff. Which causes more people to take their holiday around that time. Personally, I'm too busy getting my clients squared away for the rest of the summer to even think about a vacation right now.
