Great list Matthew. I loved Kamakura and can't wait to go again. The closest I've been to Mount Fuji is seeing fly by while on the bullet train. It's definitely on my to do list though.

You should also cover Nikko sometime. It's a beautiful mountainous area just north of Tokyo and it's perfect for a weekend getaway. I love the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil monkeys that are prominently displayed about the area.
