No Wrong Turns: The Pros and Cons of Taking your Work Traveling

I've been following this series very closely as both my wife and I love to travel and are from Calgary. If we could somehow find a way to work while traveling, I think we'd be in heaven. So what I would like to know, is what kind of work the two of you are doing? We were thinking of moving to somewhere in Central or South America and opening a hostel, but I like the idea of keeping a North American job much better.
