Deadline to be published at Everywhere Magazine gets closer

Remember the new travel publication, Everywhere Magazine, we told you about a few months back? If not, let me refresh your memory:

"It's created almost exclusively by its readers, who submit their best travel photographs, stories, and articles to the magazine's website," wrote Aaron. "Contributors who are published in the magazine receive $100 and a free one-year subscription."

The deadline is approaching for submissions to their Grand Opening section of the magazine. It's all about brand-new things for travelers to see or do in cities all around the world. What do they mean by new? Anything that's opened in the last year or so: new hotels, new restaurants, new museums or attractions. They run three Grand Opening pieces in every issue of Everywhere, and if you want to get your story published, you need to submit *both* a good photo of your Grand Opening location and about 100 words of caption text describing what it is and what makes it special. It's that simple.

For inspiration, here's an example of a recently-published Grand Opening piece: Renaissance Providence Hotel.

To submit your own entry, sign up for an account at Everywhere Magazine. Then you'll be able to upload your photo and write the 100-word caption. The deadline to make it into this edition is Saturday, May 31.
