First the Japanese government wants to collect all of your personal information so that you can get a card to purchase cigarettes from a vending machine and now they want to take your picture too! Can anyone say invasion of privacy? I mean they don't ask to keep that type of information on file when you want to buy a beer!
I'm all for stopping underage smoking but why don't they just stop selling cigarettes out of vending machines altogether? The folks who own the vending machine companies must be making some hefty political donations...
