I saw a program on BBC about Lonesome George (tortoise) and they mentioned the goat eradication program, it was amazing how they wiped out so many goats for the sake of tortoises....and in some parts of the world goats are considered very valuable..i am sure they could have done it in a more humane way, those hunter looked like they were enjoying practising on poor goats . Its ironic that the islands are connected to Darwin and humans are wiping out one species to save another...i say let nature take its course.
