Photo of the Day (22.04.2008)

But every now and then, you come across a sunset photo like this one from Tarik B that kind of takes your breath away for a moment. It's just that good, you know? I love everything about this photo, from the surfers in the foreground to the divine-looking orange rays jutting out from the fluffy clouds. Truly awesome work.

Thank you Martha E. and Tarik B for posting this beautiful images...surfers enjoying the ocean waves as the sunsets over the horizon. It's refreshing, smiling...
I am sure we all look forward to beautiful days like that. : )
Have a great work week. Take Care. Talk to you later.

Amazing light, great mood, nice pick! It reminds me that I wanted to tell Gadling readers that NatGeo Traveler has a new Adventure Photography Seminar coming up that explains how to capture your adventures on film. Taught by Traveler senior photo editor Dan Westergren (recently back from skiing the North Pole) and Traveler photographer Pete McBride (he shoots for National Geographic Magazine, Adventure, Outside, Men's Journal, and Smithsonian as well) will explain how to handle the particular challenges of adventure photography, and how to bring home the best shots. In Denver this weekend, on Sunday April 27, at the Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, and in Seattle on Sunday, May 18. at the Central Library. More info here:
