Frontier's situation is quite different than Skybus and ATA's -- they have quite a bit of operating cash on hand and revenue is looking good. This move is purely to stop the credit card processor from withholding more cash than necessary. Expect the credit card processors to do the same to other airlines -- which could result in a big mess for the smaller airlines. Frontier will emerge from this shortly, unless something else drastic happens.
