Guaranteed to make you smile: Improve Everywhere's newest stunt
Basically they managed to turn a little league game in California into the season's biggest event, complete with actual NBC sportscasters, a JumboTron, a Goodyear Blimp, oh, and a really professional-looking press conference. And the parents and players (even the team managers) had no idea what was going on, even after it was over.

Um.... I'm not sour. I love Gadling. But as a TRAVEL blog. How are improv and little league (in this case) even remotely travel related? Sour? Sheesh!

Hi Doug, here's how I looked at it. Little League is uniquely American, and because many of our readers hail from around the world, this post was a nice way to perhaps introduce people to this past-time. Plus the NBC people flew to California, does that count as travel? :-)

As some one who isn't an American citizen, I often wonder why Gadling is so America-centric. Then I realize that it's an American blog. C'est la vie.
The post in question had no travel angle at all. For it to be Gadling appropriate, the post should have included information like: Little League is big in America. Here's something funny that happened at a recent game. Here's how you can take part as a traveller. (IE: how to scoop Little League World Series tickets, etc).
Events and such are cool -- but how about a little information on how to participate...
