Woman said her drink was spiked on flight to Thailand
According to Anamaree Correia, a former flight attendant, three Australian soldiers wanted to have bit of fun with her on a Jetstar flight from Sydney to Phukhet, Thailand. This wasn't the flirting kind of fun that leaves you feeling gloriously giddy. This was the giddy that gets you groggy and passed out. Correia said she was sitting next to a soldier with two others in front of her and they must have spiked her water while she trotted off to the toilet. The weird feeling she had in her head after drinking her water wasn't because of the wine she drank before she drank the water--it was what was in the water.
Whatever was put in the bottle made her pass out and pee on herself, as published in the Herald Sun. Okay, this happened a few days ago, but there hasn't been any more news about it that I found. Correia didn't want to press charges at the time of the incident, but I'm wondering, wouldn't she have gone for a test to find out what was put in the water, if anything? If something was put in my drink, I sure would want to know what it was. Also wouldn't it be good to stop drink spikers?
The article also doesn't say if the soldiers were questioned. We've posted stories about urine troubles on airplanes before. Add this one to the mix as another hard to believe, but stranger true things have happened, type tale.
What strange things have been found on planes?

I question whether or not this actually happened or if the media is filling slots with crap instead of the real issues that concerns AMERICANS?? There are too many rich and powerfull people in charge of the media and this country. Which is NOT the gov.of the people by the people!!! For Miss Correia, I hope they did nothing bad to you. To the service men, act like you represent your country not yourselfs.

Please understand that "drugging" & date-rape happens alot more than you can imagine, or hear about (read post #48)! Please warn your girls/women to BEWARY, very wary, and cautious, especially when the are out ANYWHERE alone! I cannot believe how often I hear about this happening to girlfriends, and from a cab driver friend, a tow truck driver neighbor, my bartender brother. Both, I and my neice have been slipped drugs secretly... it is horrifying! Even afterwards you do not have your wits about you enough to prosecute, nor are you a good witness because you were unconscious, and only semi-conscious upon awakening; sometimes groggy/sick for days!
If Anamaree wet herself, or was drunk, she would most likley have spilled her water on herself as cover, she wouldn't bother blaming someone else if nothing happened! The fact is that some men (and boys) DO drug women for abduction, rape, robbery, molestation, peeking, pictures/cams, dominance-power-control-ego trips, torture, "experiments" and "jokes"! Going to police, or a hospital in a foreign country, especially a 3rd world culture is NOT always a viable option, or a good idea! Thier police, laws, lab services, hospitals, investigations and "sense of justice" are NOT reliable, or the same as ours (especially in Thailand where the cops run the sex & slave/trafficking trades)! Blaming the victim, and being righteously indignant about her story is simply SHAMEFUL! There are a few men posted here who admittedy feel it is OK to "steal a feel", and to drug women, and is "thier right" to take advantage of, and mistreat women, especialy if she's "friendly" or flirty. Read John Casys post #43 and moreso his past posts/raging & supporting Bin Laden against America... and Realityman post #66.. you will then know the type of man abuses women on on a whim "rightfully"! When it happens to your precious wife/daughter you will understand... like a knife thru your heart!
I thank Anamaree for her courage in telling her story... with nothing to gain, but obviously with much credibility to loose in doing so! Hopefully it will bring awareness to ALL of us about this disturbing and growing trend. God bless, comfort and keep you safe Annamaree!
PS: Pills, whether loose or in Rx bottles are not inspected, or confiscated at airports! I'm sure Annamaree was more worried about herself and getting off the plane safely rather than collecting evidence & saving old water bottles that the boys probably threw away while she was unconscious.
