Happy opening day, baseball country!

In honor of Major League Baseball's opening day, here's a map (click to enlarge) that shows where each team's allegiances lie in the US. Just eyeballing the map, which was made by Nike using fan input, it actually looks quite accurate, though judging by the attendance at most Florida Marlins games, I'd wager most of Florida should be labelled "Unincorporated Territory."

For more on this map, head over to the always-edifying blog, Strange Maps.

And check out our worthless-until-next-year Guide to Spring Training baseball here.
