Woman crashes her car, saves her morning coffee
I just want to assure all of you that this is not a story about me. I am not saying "this would never, ever happen to me" but since I don't have a car here in the US, I don't have to make those hard choices: a latte or the front windshield? Hmm, tough.
A 22-year old woman from Oakland, California may have landed in the waters of the Oakland Estuary after losing control of her car on Thursday, but she never lost her grip on her morning coffee, APP writes. She was apparently reaching for her cell phone around 6 a.m. when the car sped out of control and became lodged under a home on stilts on the water.
She got out of the car uninjured and holding her coffee cup. This woman should be the next Bond girl!

the worst is the idiots with their dogs running all over the car, slobberin on windows, so ya can't see outta them, all up in their faces, so they can turn their heads, barking and scaring people in parking lots, distracting teir owners when they see a cat. need to ban dogs in cars, unless in containers!

It wasn't necessary to mention that a woman did this...they should make it illegal for some people to do anything other than drive when behind the wheel of an automobile. Women have a hard enough time doing that let alone drinking coffee, talking on their cell phone, putting on makeup, brushing their hair and just generally being a woman. It was one thing to let them vote...should have never given them a license to drive.

My mom learned how to drive when she was 16. My mom has only been in two accidents. My mom is now 54 and hasn't been in an accident since 1997( I was with her) and neither one was her fault.
My brother was added to their insurance when he was 16 right after he got his license. Their insurance went up dramatically. My brother has never been in an accident.
My mom has never ever smoked drank or used drugs. As for this 22 year old woman she should have given up the coffee and got her car under control.
My grandfather (mom's dad) was a school teacher during the school yr and then he taught drivers ed every summer and with (6) kids he didn't really have a choice and my mom was the second out of those six.
