I just spent a year in Ghana and you wouldn't believe how many little lost souls (as I call 'em) came and went over that period.
Some did little more than party in Osu (the touristy neighborhood in Ghana's capital Accra) and shagged everything that moved. And then they hopped on their high horses about how they were helping the poor Africans.
It's one thing to travel the world to party. It's another thing to say you're making the world a better place when you're really just re-enforcing stereotypes and doing little more than getting lucky.
