I'm french and I doubt about this information.
But if this is true, I found this is a very good idea.
Because I'm sure Gustave Eiffel would agree with that project.
And you know at first place, french people wanted to remove the tower, because they find it ugly.
It's now the symbol of Paris and therefore, the symbol of France...
You find it ugly, you prefer things like it was before ? Let's start the project !
