I have spent time in Thailand, in Phuket, and I considered it a safer enviorment than the average city in America. It shames me as an American to say this, but how many women are killed in any city in this countrry or any country in the world that is similar in size, population, tourists in any given amount of time. The Thai people were far more giving and respectful than I had ever imagined, much more so than many in this country. It saddens me that we, meaning the human race in general, have little respect for one another and that we cannot or will not have the ability to be accountable for ourselves as a society or individualy. We need to all grow up and be accountable for ourselves and I really think it would make huge difference in peoples attitudes, the world over.remember to be thankful for what we have and to be honest, and you will most likely be happy and healthy. looks good on paper, right?
