In order to make yourself understood in a language that you don't know you need a database of words and phrases which could be added together to make sensible statements or questions. You can do it with a program like ours: www.lexitools.org
At the moment it is a Polish-English Practical Translating Dictionary but can be used for any pair of lanuages. This Communicator permits people to get understood even if they don't speak the same language.
