I can totally see my brother doing that... I sometimes do that on my desk chair when I'm lazy to get up and walk to my bed for a short nap as well

Never on a plane, no. But I have seen a few people passed out like that under a booth in a bar... (Over-served? Never!)

Yep - I saw a young woman sleep like that (in the middle seat of a 5-seat row) on a flight from Hawaii to Dallas a few years back. Oddly enough, she was an off-duty flight attendant!

Honestly, I'd be willing to try just about anything to get a few hours rest on a long flight. I'm small, but I still get cramped up trying to find a good snoozing position. It looks a little more comfortable than your head on the tray table, at least. :)

It would be interesting to hear what a chiropractor or physical therapist thinks about this position for sleeping. Like ......is there any research ....on sleeping positions .......???
