Are you too pretty to fly?
I believe that we have just crossed the line from irritating to incredulous in the Southwest Airlines fashion police scandal. As I'm sure everyone is now aware, last year, Kyla Ebberts raised a huge ruckus with Southwest when they asked her to change out of the skimpy clothing that she was wearing on a flight. She was perfectly warranted in her argument, mind you; as numerous images prove, she wasn't wearing anything more than a tight shirt and a really short skirt.
Now it seems like it's getting out of hand. In the most recent chapter of Skirtgate, two teens flying between Tampa and Los Angeles are crying foul because they were escorted off the plane by security officers (at the destination). Apparently they were causing a disruption on the plane because they couldn't get water when they wanted it and were knocking on the lavatory door while someone was inside.
Their side of the story is that the flight attendants were rude and discriminatory to them, saying,
"I think they were just discriminating against because we were young decent-looking girls. I mean, nobody else on the plane looked like us except us. [The flight attendants] were like older ladies. We were younger. Who knows, they could have been just jealous of us because we were younger."
Or maybe you were just being spoiled brats.
Details at Tampa Bay's 10 are still fuzzy, but I have a feeling I know how this is going to turn out.

Definitely discriminatory if they didn't even bat an eye at the guy who yelled the profanity first. What's so wrong with getting water, anyhow? I've never been told I had to wait until they were in "water dispensing mode" when I asked for water. I asked, they gave me water. Just another reason to add to the long list of why we hate Southwest.

In my experience a Southwest flight attendant will get you a drink whenever you ask except possibly during the initial ascent period and the descent. Most of the attendants try to be in their seats during this period, and do not have time to roam back and forth.
Everyone I know who has flown Southwest loves the service, and I have never had a bad experience in over 100 flights with them.

hey girls !!! The flight attendants were right!! if you want to dress like that( like going to the beach, partying, etc), is ok,but not in a airplane!!! If you want to show off, too bad!!Probably you don`t know what dress code means...

Uh... there *are* no dress codes on airplanes, other than you must wear clothes. At least not on any of the airlines *I've* traveled.

Like I said before, good looks are a waste if the lights are on and no ones home. It's like buying a Corvette with a 4 cyl. engine.

these girls are NOT too pretty to fly, they are as ugly as they get. probably why they dress skimpy, to make up for what they lack in the head area. girls like these are the reason why some older people may actually hate younger girls. whatever, they're stupid brats who probably souldn't be so high up in the air anyway...might take away from what little brain they may have.

Immature is not being able to wait until the flight attendant has some time free to get you your water and disruptive is not being able to wait for your turn to go to the bathroom.
If these girls have illusions of being princesses and are acting as such, maybe they should ask their parents to charter a plain for then and stop flying southwest.
If I was on that flight I would have bitch slapped those two and I would be sure when we got to the ground and those two complained no one would have "seen" what I did.
