Are you too pretty to fly?
I believe that we have just crossed the line from irritating to incredulous in the Southwest Airlines fashion police scandal. As I'm sure everyone is now aware, last year, Kyla Ebberts raised a huge ruckus with Southwest when they asked her to change out of the skimpy clothing that she was wearing on a flight. She was perfectly warranted in her argument, mind you; as numerous images prove, she wasn't wearing anything more than a tight shirt and a really short skirt.
Now it seems like it's getting out of hand. In the most recent chapter of Skirtgate, two teens flying between Tampa and Los Angeles are crying foul because they were escorted off the plane by security officers (at the destination). Apparently they were causing a disruption on the plane because they couldn't get water when they wanted it and were knocking on the lavatory door while someone was inside.

Their side of the story is that the flight attendants were rude and discriminatory to them, saying,
"I think they were just discriminating against because we were young decent-looking girls. I mean, nobody else on the plane looked like us except us. [The flight attendants] were like older ladies. We were younger. Who knows, they could have been just jealous of us because we were younger."
Or maybe you were just being spoiled brats.
Details at Tampa Bay's 10 are still fuzzy, but I have a feeling I know how this is going to turn out.

I watched the Dr. Phil episode today and there was nothing said about the way the 2 girls dressed. However, I was amazed at how stupid they were. You know the type that say LIKE every other word. I think that it is unbelievable that they would even have the nerve to claim that they were too pretty (which they deny by the way, but Dr. Phil had proof). With everything that has happened in the past (9/11) I can't believe that people will argue over such stupid stuff on an airplane and put the airlines in a position of fighting a stupid law suit instead of putting the money in security...Those 2 little bitches should be ashamed of them selves.

Wow. How old are they? My age? Im in High school!! And from what Ive seen, most kids my age tend to be a bit stupid/obnoxious/snobs. Seriously. If you want water, get it yourself. Dont airlines let you take water anymore?
Seriously.
And also: Wait for the plane to land of wait till its reaches a good altitude to start asking for water. Its only common soutesty. Who knows? They next plane they want to get on, they will be blown up by terrorists. Might want to start acting smarter sooner than later.

Well obviously you havent been on a plane in quite awhile because there aren't any airlines that allow you to bring any type of liquids onto the plane anymore (although I think you may be able to if it's under like 3oz or something, Im not 100% on the amount), but you are able to buy beverages and snacks to bring on the flight once you pass through secruity.
And yes once your boarded the flight attendants will announce that for your safety and the crew's, they will not serve anything until the plane has reached a certain altitude and has stabilized, then they will announce again when they will be serving beverages and whatever else the airline has decided to passout. So yes obviously these girls are stupid, spoiled little brats. It's not like they were uninformed and denied of anything. I have never been on a flight where I havent heard that whole speach before take off.
And yes Tianna, I can absoultely tell your still in highschool by your grammatical and spelling errors lol. I know no one is perfect and Im not trying to pick on you about that but I do have to ask... What the hell does a terrorist attack on the plane they decide to get on have to do with anything? No offense but that makes absolutely no sense lol.
And for the record, those are 2 of the ugliest little skanks I have ever seen in my life. If they really think they were being treated that way because they're "too pretty", then fuck man I should be banned from every airline's flight til the day I die haha. It amazes me how ignorant and retarded people are.

To wooow:
Yeah, I didnt actually look at the screen when I was talking... XD
And its true, Ive ony been on a helicopter, not an airplane. I only know what I read and see in movies, much like the rest of the ttenage population.
Well, the terrorist thing doesnt have anything to do with it. Just making a really strange point... that I cant remember right now. Im trying to get my little sister to shut up.
I think everyone but them would get banned... even when dead. :P

Sorry, but I've flown Southwest scores of times. The planes are crowded, but the staff are pro--as good as any domestic airline--and usually more personable and attentive.
I'd like to hear what other passengers say about this; if the girls turn out twits, then let's see a public apology, and compensation for a fraudulent allegation.

Those two are examples of the height of brattyness and snobs Ppl like them think they are the center of the universe If they truly believe they were treated that way because they are pretty they should take another look in the mirror because they are hardly pretty plus they have an obviously overblown opinion of themselves

I was on that flight and seated 2 rows back and across the isle from these girls. For one thing they were told in advance that it was going to be a full flight when they got to Kansas City, and they might want to sit up and move from where they had been sleeping in a full row to themselves since Florida. On top of this full flight, there was a lady with a toddler that was sitting in between the two girls, which the toddler was crying most of the time, which upset the girls even more. The guy that got up and supposedly said something to them on his way to the bathroom, did look a little scary but still did not warrant the blonde haired girl going back to the bathroom door and banging on it and saying: "You dumb MF, don't you know there are other people on this flight that need to use the restroom". (Note there are two bathrooms on a airplane, if one is full, go to the other one.) It was as simple as that. They were spoiled little brats that are used to getting their way, and I was glad they got kicked off.
