Best prank ever (part 2): Stopping time in London
So backed by popular demand, I bring you part two of the performance-art group's "frozen in time" prank. This time, it's London and because a lot more people showed up, it looks every more impressive.

That was seriously cool! I love the psychological effect on a mass level. Thanks...

Some kids in Vancouver, Canada, copied the "Grand Central" prank a couple weeks ago...
The location was inside a Downtown mall...but it didn't come off half as cool...just a lame copied attempt.

To Greg, wow negative, so I guess you didn't partisapate, just complained. Let's see what you can do then!

Great!! Great!! Great!! Great!! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed these two pranks!! Absolutely Wonderful!! The looks on the faces of the uninitiated are priceless!! I'd LOVE to be part of something like this!! I'd also love to see something like this in Japan where only non-Japanese are doing it... Idea eh??

Loved it! Mass stillness! Inspiring whenver humans communicate and join in a communal. I wonder what the rest of the day was like for those that participated? Good camera work. Beautiful and simple expression of conjoined humaness in a moment ( several ) of standing still in time.

That was SO COOL. After all the garbage being put out, and pulled off these days, that was so refreshing. It took a lot of organization and creativity. VERY COOL!!!

Very impressive. The particpants that were involved showed great restraint while being observed. I think I would have lost control after seeing some of the reactions of those that weren,t in the loop. I bow to your talents

I can't see this video... any help?
Crystal Feb 27th 2008 3:18PM
I love this. I would love to participate in something liek this. It is spectacular to see how people respond to something so simple and mundate as a bunch of people frozen in place. It is SO COOL!
Ginny Feb 27th 2008 5:24PM
Was finally able to see it! It was SO NEAT!! I give all those people credit for not laughing or anything!
Gina Feb 28th 2008 11:13AM
It would have been like the Twilight Zone!

I first watched Grand Central Station which was great. Trafalger Square was even better secondary to more people. Very cool!! It would be so fun to participate and as much fun to be standing and watching the walkers observe the frozen!
Steve Feb 28th 2008 10:12PM
I prefer the Grand Central version. Too many people in Trafalger Square. Visually more compelling when the crowd is less dense.
Still - a great achievement.
