The New York Times cruise issue

This Sunday's New York Times travel section is the cruise issue. For many, spring break is around the corner, and students (as well as overworked cubicle moles looking to see some sun) are in the midst of booking their cruises. A couple of my friends have been struggling to wade through all the material out there--it is definitely overwhelming.

One particular article from the issue talks about the new trend of offering more land excursions, such as visiting Angkor Wat or the temples of Bhutan. If you're that much of a cruise junkie, this could give your trip that extra zing.

But for everyone else, save your money for a fare sale and bus tickets.
