Double decker buses in London don't always fit...

The advantage of the trademark London double decker buses is that they fit a lot of people and provide a great view (for tourists, this is a big plus). The disadvantage is that, sometimes, they apparently don't fit where a regular bus would, according to BBC today.

This morning, the number 24 bus was diverted diverted along Prince of Wales Road because of a major fire at Camden market on Saturday. There was a sign instructing drivers to use the middle of the road, hence the highest point of the bridge.

However, this bus driver clearly didn't follow instructions and crashed into a railway bridge in North London, injuring 6 passengers when the roof was pulled off the vehicle and all the windows popped out. Ouch!

I'm a girl and only nine years old but i think if they would let the air out of the tires, one of those nine men could drive the bus out. I'm sure they will think of that sooner or later- or not, ha-ha.

The driver had to be a Blonde . Male or Female , Blondes are dumb for the most part .

Maybe more adults should pay attention to a 9 year old who can think "out of the box" like that (or should I say, Out of the Tunnel). Minds like hers are the future of our world

Ouch, that hurts. I did that once, tried to drive a delivery truck under a brick arch into a hospital delivery area. Always had a full load before, this time I was empty. Springs were not compressed, body was higher, WHAM...peeled 2 inches off the top for about 5 feet. Patients, nurses, doctors and security came running from all directions. The sound had been like 100 bass drums all pounded at once, and everyone was quite shook up. Me....I was just a babbling idiot...embarrassed to the max. Ah, fun.
