On another side note, the "worst. noun. ever." thing started ages ago on the Internet (though once upon a time it was "worst! noun! ever!") Where I primarily know it from is that apparently it was used in Simpsons chat to describe bad episodes (i.e., anything directed by Mike Scully), though probably it was used in other TV show chat. Anyway, Comic Book Guy in the Simpsons started using that construction, sometimes to describe inconsistencies in the show ("The Simpsons already HAD a horse, forcing Homer to work two jobs with hilarious results"), and sometimes just in general. So then anyone who hadn't used it before started using it again in a vicious circle of pop-nerddom.
I'm not saying it's good or bad. Just giving you the etymology.
Aren't you glad you asked?
