Do you have similar tips for traveling with children? I'd like to take the kids (an me) but obviously hanging out drinking beer is not going to be high on the list. I want them to have a chance to see everything and meet people, but in a kid appropriate way.

Ideas? Posts?

Hi Karen, I don't have kids, so I don't have any advice to offer. But I'll ask our team -- surely someone has traveled in Europe with their kids.

i too am planning ot backpack with my hubby and two babies (1.3 and 3 years old) so if u have any tips please do send them on. we r travelling from india towards probably march end or april beginng. we plan to do about 10-15 days only for now, so where do we begin, how would the weather be, where should we go (good food, and cheap budget, kids friendly r priorities!) am i being too optimistic?
