Backpacking through Europe: The basics

I just got back from Europe (London, Paris) a week ago. Some things to consider: Paris Metro smells like piss, the stench is unbelievable, Underground Tube is clean, get an Oyster card it will save you money. I couldn't find a toilet in all of England that flushes on the first, second, or third try. If you happen to go to London, visit Morelli's Gelato at Harrods department store and have the Knickerbocker Glory. It is heaven.
