Somehow I don't think this will fly with straight American men. ;) I'd like to see the more "masculine" designs, though: they might actually appeal to the older US market for Hello Kitty goods.
I mean... my mom is in her fifties, started buying me HK stuff when I was a toddler and it was new, and still buys it and carries it in her purse: tissues, first-aid kits, tiny notebooks, that sort of thing. People like us would definitely be interested in seeing ever-less-frou-frou-and-childish variations on the theme.
