Guess you haven't made it to China yet - the tall statue was a replica of the terra cotta warriors that are found in Xi'an.
I agree with Carl - TAR is the best "reality" show on TV for the travel/culture insight, but Survivor is still tops in exposing group dynamics of cultures under stress. Comparing the two is futile and meaningless.
