I just traveled with 7 bottles of Scotch using a much easier method. I purchased a decent size roll of bubble wrap. Then I wrapped the shit out of each individual bottle ensuring that the tops and bottoms were also well wrapped. I knew I was ok when I knocked one of the wrapped bottles off the counter and it survived.
