Virgin America adds a little humor to safety video

Do you pay attention to flight safety presentations? I rarely do, except when I'm right in front of the flight attendant and I don't want to be rude. As a teacher, I know how difficult it is to be up in front of a lot of people who really could care less. But the safety videos? As if. I'm all about the in-flight mag and my ~~Asia-purchased Valium~~ melatonin before the plane even takes off.

But Virgin America's new safety animation grabbed my attention -- and held it. All the usual safety information is included, but the airline makes the whole 4-minute presentation a bit more palatable. Watch it and let us know what you think!

I love this video....could even show it to people who haven't flown before as a preparation for their first trip.

now that i've watched it before the flight, does this mean i can ignore the video when i first get on the plane?

I am flying them in January because our friends just raved about the airline. Why does a Brit owning it, a German running it, do so much better than the American carrier's? You got me, our know how is slowly giving way to OTHERS, sad to say

This pleasing video will grab everyone's attention.
It's humourous, cartoon like, and easy to understand... even for youngsters. A pretty face is great, but paying attention to safety matters is more important.
