Pinkberry: Coming to a corner near you
Ever heard of Pinkberry? Considering that people line up around the corner at its Los Angeles and New York stores for a taste of the store's signature frozen yogurt, which is a hit among several celebrities, probably. I've never been to Pinkberry, and living up here in Canada, I suppose I probably won't pay them a visit for a very long time, but you might see a store come to your neighbourhood. That's right, the bizarrely popular, perversely expensive yogurt chain is expanding. And considering that the Chairman of Starbucks is one of the people working on the deal, expect to see a lot of them. What's all the hype about, you ask? Pinkberry offers a selection of tasty, fat-free fro-yos with yummy toppings that you can choose yourself, like chocolate chips, mango and Fruity Pebbles cereal. Still, I'm not sure I would wait in line for it.

This is the dumbest frou frou sh*t ever. It is so annoying to hear people from the Los Angeles area to rave about Pink Berry.

I agree with the above poster and I'd just like to stay Pinkberry sounds a lot like a STD or some other unpleasant affliction.

Pinkberry is digusting. Their "frozen yogurt" tastes like paint thinner. People like the trendy-looking storefronts better than the ice cream.

No thanks, I'll stick to Cold Stone Creamery! I don't think anyone can top their ice cream!!

I just tried this two weeks ago in Los Angeles while visiting. It looked marvelous! The customers inside that were eating the yogurt looked like they just left
woodstock! I thought that was quite strange but I decided what they hell they all looked like they loved the stuff. Yumm its so natural!!!! Nothing bad in it. Let me tell you my excitement turned to outright disgust as I almost threw up! OH Lord! How in the hell could anyone eat this was my thought. I embarrassed could not swallow it. I had to spit it out! To say it was like sour milk is an understatement. It was like vinegar! Thick nasty sour disgusting vinegar mixed with milk. I say don't eat it and if you do you are sick! The only way you can eat this stuff is if someone told you it was the cool thing to do and you really have low self esteem and need to be cool with the rest of the people with no taste at all. Sorry folks but eat ice cream. Even a bad one would beat this crap.

Nothing but a Bunch of midwestern plain vanilla fuddy duddys on here complaining about PinkBerry because it doesn't taste like 1500 calorie Coldstone Creamery, or because their unadventuresome palattes border on the exotic when they first tried a chalupa at Taco Bell....or most likely because "they" just tend to hate anything that comes from L.A....
PinkBerry's popularity for whatever reason is a phenomenon~but it definately ROCKS! Low Cal, Taste Sensation, and doesn't resemble ColdStone because it's NOT

Yep, don't bother bringing this muck to the Midwest. We're a little different when it comes to sour milk-- we don't toss fruit on it and charge $7. We pour it down the disposal for free. :-D

If you have not tried it, don't knock it. It is delicious. Especially with the chopped up mango on it. Plus it is a whole lot lower in calories than Coldstone. One serving of that is your whole calorie intake for a whole day.
cc Oct 26th 2007 11:26PM
Wow... I bet you are all overweight too... figures, since you are all stuffing your faces with crap like coldstone. Pinkberry is delicious AND not so grossly fattening, that you can eat it a lot more often. I just moved away from LA and Pinkberry is one of the things I miss the most! Coldstone is so disgustingly sweet and fatty, I tried it once and was sick to my stomach. I would easily pay $7 or more for pinkberry or something like it. Thank GOD it doesn't taste like ice cream or cold stone!

Pinkberry SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COLDSTONE CREAMERY IS NUMBER ONE, UNO, 1 !!!!!
Brenda Oct 26th 2007 11:54PM
Well.......cc, you sound like a stuck-up, snob, beeeeeeatch anyway, so enjoy your disgusting Pinkberry crap, and I hope you choke on it! Enjoy~~

The point even the article writer missed is how good Pinkberry is for you. Unlike other frozen yogurts it still has the active live cultures in it that is so good for your digestion.

I tried pinkberry the other night, Iwas curious I wasn"t trilled with the taste and price. The taste that I like is Angelos Italian Gelato made in Bensonville Ill. and its just starting to make its way to the west coast. If you want more info send me an e-mail.

The place to have frozen yogurt is Golden Spoon. We LOVE their chocolate peanut butter.

YOU CANT COMPARE FROZEN YOGURT TO COLDSTONE, WHICH IS ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING ANYWAY, JUST WATCHING THEM ROLL OUT THE ICECRAM IS ENOUGHT TO MAKE YOU PUKE, BUT ON THE CONTRARY, IVE BEEN IN TONS OF FROZEN YOGURT STORES THAT HAVE FAT FREE, SUGAR FREE WITH ANY KIND OF TOPPINGS FOR DECADES, SO WHATS SO GREAT ABOUT PINKBERRY, BECASUE REESE EATS IT WUITH HER WITHERPOON?
