I love my Digital Rebel, though I don't carry nearly as many accessories as you do. Yikes. Can you say "back-breaking"?
I used the Tokina Super Wide Angle (http://www.amazon.com/Tokina-12-24mm-Cleaning-Digital-Cameras/dp/B000IZ35PY) on a recent trip, and I was thrilled. It has tremendous range (http://www.flickr.com/photos/volk/1418048815/).
You travel with a coffee mug? I spent the summer overseas, and I carried a French Press with me, but that was for the whole summer, and I was in Africa.
